I get a security warning when opening the app

This is normal for apps downloaded outside the Mac App Store. Right-click (or Control-click) the app and select "Open" from the context menu. You only need to do this once - after that it opens normally.

How do guests access the translations?

Once the app is running, it creates a local web server. Share your computer's local IP address with guests (shown in the app). They open the link in any browser on their phone - no app download needed. Make sure everyone is on the same WiFi network.

Does it work without internet?

Speech recognition works offline (it runs locally on your Mac). However, translations require an internet connection since they use Google Translate. Make sure the venue has WiFi.

How many languages can I translate to at once?

You can select multiple target languages simultaneously. Each guest sees translations in their chosen language. The app supports 100+ languages.

Can I test it before my wedding?

Absolutely! We recommend testing during your rehearsal to make sure everything works with the venue's WiFi and microphone setup.

What if I need a refund?

If the app doesn't work on your system, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.

Does it work on Windows or iPad?

Currently Wedding Translator is macOS only. You need a Mac to run the app, but guests can access translations from any device (iPhone, Android, iPad, laptop) via a web browser.
